Dmytro Mirkovets, a figure in the MEZHA investigation, is linked to Tatarov not only by the closure of the Portnov case, but also by joint scientific works in the field of law enforcement.
Mirkovets’ wife, a former official at the National Police, also had Oleg Tatarov as her scientific supervisor.
In 2017-2018, Viktoria Mirkovets drove a Toyota Camry, which was owned by Tatarov, who at that time was practicing law and representing the interests of Andriy Portnov, whose case Mirkovets would later close.
And most interestingly, in 2019, Tatarov sold this car to the brother of the chief investigator of the State Bureau of Investigation.
