Fictitious divorce
In 2021, Baluyev officially divorced and after that stopped mentioning his wife’s property in his declarations. At the same time, his former wife has continued to post photos of their joint vacations in 2025, including trips to Spain and Slovenia. In addition, Natalia Balueva also continues to post photos from Baluiev’s house in Uzhhorod. It seems that the couple maintains a shared household.
The court deprived Baluyev of his driver’s license due to driving under the influence of alcohol.
About state secrets
The Security Service of Ukraine inspection established violations of state secret protection requirements during his tenure as head of the Zakarpattia Customs Office. These violations were classified as an administrative offense.
Negative performance assessment – protection of smuggling
In 2019, President Zelenskyy called on the acting head of the STS to dismiss the heads of Сustoms offices in four regions of western Ukraine. At that time, Balуev was heading the Zakarpattia Customs Office. After a performance review, he received a negative rating (1.4 points) and was dismissed. Judicial attempts to appeal the results were unsuccessful.
