Yuriy Zanik is currently the deputy head of the Corruption Prevention Department of the State Migration Service.
A fan of registering property in the names of relatives, he registered an apartment in Kyiv in the name of his father, who lives in Lviv, a house in the name of his mother, and his new wife now has a house and $97,000 in cash. At the same time, his parents did not have the corresponding income.
- Since 2008, Zanik’s father has owned one property: an apartment in Kyiv (43.6 square meters, worth $68,626). Of course, Zanik himself lives there, as his father is in Lviv. However, he has only declared its use since 2010. This same apartment was used by another person, Iryna Mazhara, whom the candidate “forgot” to mention in his declarations in 2021 and 2022.
- Zanik’s mother purchased a new house and land near Lviv ($88,000) in 2019. The pensioner did not and does not have the corresponding income.
- In 2019, the candidate states that Oksana Bilyak also begins to use her “father’s” apartment. However, he only declared living with her in 2020. At that time, Bilyak purchased a house (247 sq. m. – UAH 1.2 million). This property then became jointly owned, and the source of funds is unknown.
- In 2023, the family purchased land near Lviv (324 sq. m.). The plan is to build a house (376 sq. m.) and a farm building there. Such construction could cost Zanik several million hryvnias, so the total value of the property at 7.7 million hryvnias is not final.
