43 candidates applied for the position of Head of the State Customs Service of Ukraine
After the application submission period ended, the committee received documents from 43 candidates and began their review prior to admission to the main stages of the selection process.
Tomorrow, the selection committee will review the submitted documents and determine the list of candidates admitted to the competition.
The procedure involves a multi-stage assessment of candidates, including knowledge and general skills testing, practical exercises in professional and managerial competencies, a special integrity check, and interviews. The selection committee includes representatives of the business community and international experts in customs policy and institutional reforms.
The candidates include individuals who participated in previous selection processes, including those from the National Agency on Corruption Prevention (NACP) and the Bureau of Economic Security (BES).
The launch of the competition was significantly delayed, which has already affected the fulfillment of Ukraine’s international obligations, in particular those to the IMF. The selection commission should have been established as early as June.
MEZHA will monitor the competition process, prepare integrity checks on the candidates, and provide relevant information to the selection committee.
